Ha! I knew it!

Decent pay, time-convenient, fun and interesting...it was too good too last, haha:) I'm talking about my job of course, the whole Visayan dubbing project for GMA 7 got shut down...boohoo hoo;p They say the whole thing didn't get good revues from Cebu (I'm also not surprised about that). Oddly enough, I wasn't too affected by the news, but I couldn't say the same for everyone else on the project. Some of them started dissing the "Cebu" people...so I was just in the corner going...laLalalala...:) Before I left, the boss (tita Jing) said that she'll contact us when there are upcoming projects, but this time, we would have to audition in Tagalog. Although she encouraged me to do so even before, I really don't have the skill in that particular language in even just the everyday stuff (as all my friends would attest) much more for national tv. So I'm not sure if I'll try that, hehe. Though I'm really thankful for the experience and it was fun while it lasted. Hmm...so after that...what's next? :)

....

I've been on a high recently...and I have almost no idea as to why. The funny thing is, a lot of things went awry from the days that have gone by, like the irregular status of my employment as I've already mentioned above, the weather, the fact that I had no money over the weekend coz my bank and it's atm network was totally offline throughout the city, my bag tearing up, my dirty laundry falling in the middle of the street (Commonwealth Ave. no less!), bumping into weird people(I'd rather not elaborate), and so much more. But like I said, I'm on an unnatural high, all these things and more didn't shake the mood I was in, not even bring out a sigh of irritation...nothing! Haha, I dunno... it's been a while since I've ever been like this...and I hope it's a good sign and not proof that I may have already lost my marbles, haha. Maybe having a relaltively orderly room nowadays has done wonders to my ability to cope with stress. Hmm, when I say an "orderly room", I merely imply that from living conditions that were once sub-human...it has been upgraded as far as my living standards are concerned; But to the average person...my place is still pretty much a dump, haha!

It's too bad for my neighbors though when I'm like this...I'm likely to sing my lungs out in the shower, oooh boy...;p

"You have no enemies, you say?
Alas, my friend, the boast is poor.
He who has mingled in the fray of duty
that the brave endure, must have made foes.
If you have none, small is the work that you have done.
You've hit no traitor on the hip.
You've dashed no cup from perjured lip.
You've never turned the wrong to right.
You've been a coward in the fight"
