There has always been something in silence that seduced me. The quiet things somehow seem more moving, more potent. So much stays in the realm of the unsaid, and after everything else, still so much would remain when we could say all that we can.

It ended at about 2pm and we headed to my friends house for some ice cream and cake.
After that, we decided to watch a movie in Shangri La mall (good bye moolah for me..., oh well). But the movie we could only watch the movie at 8:30pm, so we hung out for a while. I got home at about 12 or 1 in the morning.
....
MUST REMEMBER TO...

Lately, I've been enjoying myself at my new college especially with the plates. It's now I realize the magic there is in a place like the college of Fine Arts. Everyday, people go there creating BEAUTIFUL and wonderful things...everyday! And anything beautiful will always be good food for the soul.
I've been getting along with my classmates pretty well too...and almost everyone addresses me as kuya since I'm about 5 years older than most of them. They generally see me as the quiet type but they don't feel afraid to approach me which is good. In fact, they kid around me sometimes. Like last week, they told me I kinda looked like keanu reeves. Most would take this as a compliment but they said it right after they discussed how he was actually gay...
*narration*
girl 1: *scanning pictures in a magazine*
girl 2: uy! si keanu...sya nalang idrawing ko...
girl 1: alam mo bang bading yan?
girl 2: talaga? pano mo alam?
girl 1: nagpakasak daw sya sa blah blah blah...male lover nya...
girl 2: talaga?
-- they continue to talk abut his gayness when girl 1 looks at me...
girl 1: uy! kamukha mo si keanu!
girl 2: oo nga...
me: ....
girl 3: oo nga! kamukha mo...
me: nge, di ah
girl 1: magshades ka kaya...atsaka mag trench coat...
guy 1: haha, oo nga pare...pwede
girl 3: pero mas kamukha mo si piolo
everyone but me: hahahaha
girl 4: o, pili ka...keanu o piolo?
me: waaaaaaaH!
girl 5: di...para kang si maculay culkin!
me:...help... :(
girl 4: ano ka ba...compliments yun
*END*
First of all, i wasn't sure if they were really compliments. Second, if they were...I'm not good at accepting them. So that's that, haha. It's funny though...now that I think of it, some people have said like i look like a bunch of other people. My friends from my former bhows also think i look like piolo(why God!?). Another friend say I'm like jim carrey. Another says I look like tobey maguire (yung eyes daw) and soem relatives and friends from cebu...brendan fraser naman daw. Even my own mom is evol...I look like deither daw...waaaaaaaaah(she watches too much telenovelas)!
i can't possibly look like all of those people...coz if i did...I'd look like some of the faces that Conan O'Brien and Jay Leno show on their programs if ever some male stars ever crossed genes(which is really hilarious!). CONCLUSION: everyone is barbs! ...or should have their eyes checked.
Was with some old friends the past few days. I was glad to do some catching up...and some good old memories where there as well. I got to see Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind two times now. It's a great movie and I highly recommend it to everyone. Everyone!
Hmmm...oh no...it's getting late, have to go.

Anyway...
I'm happy these days and things are going well in my new org. For some reason, I don't feel so awkward in the presence of the new company...which is a good thing really, hehe. Lets face it, people really are bothered much more than I am when I'm my usual quiet self. So I have to make an effort every time to be not so myself every now and then. You know, for the sake of politeness and to avoid misunderstandings and hasty generalizations. But I'm glad the past few days haven't been like that and things came rather effortlessly for reasons that escape me. Well, the reasons aren't really important anymore...I'm just glad to find that there are times that I am genuinely relaxed (around other people).
I have going to mass for the past two weekends now. Willingly I might add. I must admit though that I have missed hearing the homily and the last two sermons were pretty good. I guess right now, I'm just putting up a white flag, some kind of truce regarding my growing unrest in the Catholic faith.
Went out with Ron and Kuya Boky (brothers) last Sunday. But I met up first with Sheila, Gem and Ralph for two hours of badminton. Then had lunch with my bros in The Barn (my first time there). It was raining hard the whole day and the two genuises forgot their umbrellas...so we had to pack ourselves into my one umbrella which broke for some reason, so I had to buy another one. Anyhow, we scourged Katipunan the whole afternoon for comics and hobby shops. My older brother is quite the MageKnights fanatic. So there we were, risking life and health under my one umbrella to look for the allowance warping past time of miniature game toy collecting.
Then when evening came, we went to my uncle's house and got to talk (argue) about a lot of stuff...

Sometimes, late at night, when sleep doesn't come to you, the mind wanders off places. Sometimes you wonder if you've made the right decisions and sometimes you think...there are no right decisions. But that can't be true, because you've convinced yourself long ago that the only colors in the palette were black and white.
Sometimes you wonder if you're doing things right, the mind goes places you don't really want to. You think about how long the past five years have been, and how much longer the next four will be. You wonder if the decisions you've made, the choice to follow a dream this late in the game, would somehow have any real impact, any real effect on the downward spiral you found yourself helplessly falling in. Then you think, that if this is the way things are, then maybe it is how things were meant to be. There is some comfort in that thought. And some humor too, I guess. That somehow, how people screw up is all part of some great grand scheme of sorts.
It's funny though how in the movies every converstion is meaningful. Every sentence uttered has some effect on the entire storyline that you know will eventually lead somewhere. Every word uttered would somehow let you see a bit of who the character is. It's just not like that in real life. Sometimes, I think there is more sense in silence...than to listen to people lie to themselves everyday. Here I go getting sarcastic again...
And in the morning I will forget...till the time that i will once again have to wait for sleep to shut the world down.
