One side of a conversation
lost = not knowing exactly who we are

I dont believe people really get lost.

I think people just get into unfamiliar territory, fear grips them at first...which either immobilizes them from action, makes them deny the situation, or face it head on. And when you conquer the unfamiliar situation positively...you come out knowing something more about yourself.

Like i said...people dont really get lost. they just get a chance to find themselves more if they just knew how to pick a fight...so to speak.

At some point...maybe we dont know anything about anyone...but it shouldnt stop us from trying.

Improbability isnt the point, but effort is. The choice to be someone to somebody, to know and be known.

if...

you have complete trust that you know who you are...
if you have that, you'll see that peoples "false" impressions of you would be quite forgivable.

hmm...i'll share something...

I can relate in the sense of being lost. The sense of being lost, in your words is not knowing who you are. For a time I did struggle with that, but only because i tried so hard to look at myself in a way that was "acceptable" to me. I somehow had this idea that who I was was some nice guy or something of the sort. I didnt want to come to terms with certain revelations, certain weaknesses. the moment i embraced all of myself...even the undesirables, i breathed a little easier...

I learned to be easier on myself and weirdly enough, it was the first step for me to be the self i wanted to be. I dont think we will ever be the selves we want to be completely in this lifetime. But if we dont come to terms first with everything that we really are...then we really havent got a chance.

I mean as a doctor...

You first have to diagnose the ailment, before you can even speak of a treatment.

....

I did the unthinkable!!!

Well...not really unthinkable, just lame. I flirted with someone online, haha:) My life must be so boring...oh well, some people are prone to worse, or so I hope, haha.
